The things that I know about farming in my country and my favorite food by Andy.

In Japan, we are facing the strange problems about farming.  We have never trouble to find and eat food everyday. But the quantity of  food production in Japan are very low. In other words,self-sufficiency rate are very low.

How did cause the strange to happen? There are several factors to do that.
I explain about a mainl factor.Japanese young people are unwilling to work as farmer. This is because though they will be forced to do extremely, they have some risk.
For example, weather like disaster and cold-weather makes the crops spoiled. And also a market economy make the price of the crops. these farmers can't secure steady income. Because the young dislike to hate the farm, self-sufficiency rate are very low.

The principal food of the Japanese is rice, you know. Though a lot of Americans misunderstand the taste of rice, there is a reason. This is because Amercan rice is very different from Japanese one, so Japanese one is so delicious. And I like sushi. It is so simple. Put a raw fish like salmon or tuna on the rice.

The things I learn from Gingue Brothers Dairy facebook pages by Andy

When I watched the site, I found out a interesting article.

Anyone know what day it is? The obvious answer is July 12, 2013 but did you know it is also Cow Appreciation Day! Which is everyday for us since we pride ourselves in taking such good care of our girls! If you see a cow today give her a wave!

As Christien said, these farmers used the cow as the way to do bussiness. So, some people says that the animals are treated cruelly there. the cows should be free to go everywhere. But a domestic animals like the cows, can't live without people's help. And also we people need the milk that the cows produce. For exaple, when we make cheese and butter, yogurt ,cream and ice cream, we use milk A lot of food we eat comes from the cows.  In other words, We are dependent on each other to live. In addition, instead of  treat cruelly the cows , they treat them like their daughters.

In short, I learn five things from the page.
1, there is a day for appreciation of cow.
2,They don't abuse the cows.
3, the cows aren'y independent.
4, we need what the cow produce to live.
5,they love the cows like their daughters.

Committee on the shelterless by Andy

When I was junior high school student,
I had have been to a group of homeless like COTS.
At that time, I was impressed by the place which is so dirty. And they looked like less energetic. In Japan, some people regard homeless as  the people who can't be independent and do exploit the tax which the nation paid. But the way to think like that is wrong. This is because the unemployed and the homeless can be turned into the workforce of the society. In other words, We waste the workforce. Compared with Japanese situation, I think that the homeless is made much of by the committee when I visit the Committee on Temporary Shelter. For example, the committee supplies them with not only their home but also the chance to work. And they can use the facilities for free! Japanese government should help such committee to act in Japan instead of spending a lot of money in unemployment insurance. Such committee must do everything about the problem of homeless better than the bureaucracy.

The questions I want to ask to homeless people.

The questions I want to ask to homeless people.

1, Are you satisfied with your life  now ?

Majority people who spend usual life assume that homeless people is to be pitied and they should do something to help the helpless people. But I have doubt about it, because life is different depending on individuals and they may be happy without home.

2, Have you ever experienced that your life was in danger when you lived outside?

In Japan, it is a social problem that the young indiscriminately attack homeless people without no reason but recreation. They sometimes even kill them.So I want to ask about their serious problems.

3, What do you expect U.S government to do ?

The homeless people who want to buy home clearly can't do by themselves. So, I want to know what the government does and doesn't to them now.

Andy & Chocolates Factory

On 25 July 2013  Andy & Chocolates Factory

I went to the chocolates factory in Vermont, Lake champlain Chocolates Factory. At that time when I arrived at the factory, I was impressed by too much chocolates. Of course I don't dislike a chocolate. But to tell the truth , I can't recognize the difference of each chocolates which was given to me  in the explanatory meeting. I barely understand the difference of the shape of chocolate like frog.
And then, the presenter explain about the history of the factory. As she said , the founder couldn't make chocolate delicious at first. As he improved the way to make it like putting truffles into it, his chocolate became famous among his customers. From his achievement , I understand that a great person never give up until he succeed, and such person certainly succeed.

If I have  some money  there, I would buy his chocolate. It is so bad to waste the chance to buy wonderful things.

The information about myself

My name is Ando Kazutaka. Please call me Andy. I come from Osaka, Japan.
To  talk about Japan , I want to contrast Japan to U.S.A.
From economic view,  as you know U.S is the strongest country and  Japan is the third  country by measure of GDP.  GDP means gross domestic product which measure how the country prospers. The population of U.S is about 200000000 people  and of Japan is 100000000 people. So, it is always said that the population of U.S is twice as large as of Japan, In the result , GDP of U.S also became twice.
From political view , U.S government has power over Japan because  of the history that U.S army won ex-Japan army in the World War2.
Move on my town that I grow up.Osaka is the second largest city in Japan. There is even the plan that Japanese government might try to change the capital city from Tokyo to Osaka , but it is just rumor. I grow up in Nanko which means south harbor in Japanese and always felt a sea breeze. Some big ship usually be at anchor in the harbor. Of course, my town have a lot of good points. For example, There is a big store whose name is ATC like a wall-mart and a lot of people come there in weekend and Cars can't enter my town except police car or ambulances, so we have  clean air , there is a good publish transportation and it is easy for us to go to the center of Osaka. But we have a few problem. For example, sea pollution or a decrease in population. Now the mayor of Osaka try some pollution-control measures  or make it easy to get a housing loan in order to improve condition for resident and attract them . This is my town.
Finally ,I introduce my family. mother's name is Kaoru , father's name is Atushi ,younger sister's name is Hikaru. And near my house , there is a grand father's home.
